This is Dick Williams in his BBC Vega. Dick runs Super Street with the gang of renegades I travel with...he always goes deep in rounds and was runner-up in Super Street at the Seattle NHRA National Event in 2006.
Tony Hopkins low 9 second 145mph BBF mustang. Tony's best finish for a season was in 2005 when he finished 7th in Division 6 Super Street. He consistently goes rounds and has been to the finals numerous times in both Super Street and Super Pro classes.
Ron Hopkins is a regular in Super Gas but likes not running a throttle stop best in Super Pro. Ron's beautiful BBC 34 Chev roadster runs in the low 8s at 165mph and will go quicker this year with a new motor combination.
After his horrific crash at Earlville raceway in Iowa; Jamie "The Mad Man" Kemp has rebuilt this car during 2008 and is open for bookings in '09. The "One Off" body took a lot of work but was saved.
This is my good friends Dave & Ruthie Burch from Casper Wyo. Thats Dave driving at the bracket finals. This car has a ton of history. It came from the famed TV Tommy Ivos shop in 65. Originally owned & driven by Bill Levitt in Top Fuel in 656667. The car then found its way to SLC where my Dad ended up with it in 71. He campaigned the car in A/ED till 78 when I got it. I ran the car in brackets till Dave and Ruthie bought it in 99. They rebuilt the chassis (new picture to follow) and still run it in S/P. Its funny how a chunk of iron makes Family out of people. Its my Favorite car of all time so far. Glad it stayed in the family!
This is Jed Dubach and the IRON BUTTERFLY. This car was built in 1968 , Campaigned and driven by his dad Harry. Jed has done very well driving this car and has several championships to his credit.
This is Scott and Frank Parks accepting the hardware from another victory! This one is at the 2008 CHRR race at Bakersfield.
This is Ron Hockin. He had a very good showing in 08 with a top ten finish in Super Pro. Hes stepping it up shooting for 9s this season.
This is Bob Kasabuchi in his beautiful '67 Camaro convertible built by Dean at DA race cars. Bob is a long time friend and supporter of Schoenfeld Racing. Fact is without his help Steve would've sat out a couple of seasons. The car runs 9 flat at nearly 160. Oh did I mention it is street legal. Not race car street legal.. It passed the state safety inspection!
